Dirk Dohse is Research Director Trade and Head of the Research Group Innovation and International Competition. He studied economics at the Universities of Hamburg and Kiel and received a doctorate degree from Kiel University (summa cum laude). He is Adjunct Professor of Economics at Christian-Albrechts-University where he teaches Innovation Economics. Dirk has served as an expert advisor to the EU commission, the International Monetary Fund, the German Federal Research Ministry and various other national and international organizations. He has published more than 30 articles in renowned peer-reviewed journals and his research and policy work is quoted extensively in the national and international media (download CV for details).
