Menusch Khadjavi is Kiel Institute Fellow and Associate Professor of Economics at the Free University Amsterdam. He earned his doctorate from the University of Hamburg in 2013 and from 2014 to 2019 he was Assistant Professor of Economics and Ethics at Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel and Researcher at the Kiel Institute. Menusch Khadjavi’s research provides insights into morally relevant behavior in economics, including emotional motivation and extrinsic incentives, charitable giving, discrimination, and environmental and resource economics. He was a visiting scholar at UC San Diego, UC Berkeley and Columbia University. He co-operates closely with the Research Center "International Development".
