Prof. Dr. Maik Wolters

Research Center

Maik Wolters is Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Kiel and a Research Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability at Goethe-University Frankfurt. He completed his Ph.D. in 2010 under the supervision of Volker Wieland at Goethe-University Frankfurt. Afterwards he was Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Kiel and the Kiel Institute followed by positions as full Professor at the University of Jena and the University of Wuerzburg. Maik Wolters research focusses on business cycles and monetary policy and he has published many articles in international academic journals.
