Analyzing the allocation of training resources via the Centre for Entrepreneurship (C4E) in Kenya
The Centre for Entrepreneurship (C4E) is launching a research project in Kenya aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of entrepreneurship training in improving the employment situation for young people.

The high rate of youth unemployment and the predominantly informal labor market in Kenya highlight the need to develop evidence-based approaches for integrating young adults into the labor market.
At the heart of the project is the use of a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to measure the causal effects of entrepreneurship training on various economic and social variables. By randomly assigning training to a subgroup of young people, the RCT methodology allows for a precise assessment of the training's effects on employability and business outcomes of the participants.
Over several years, the project will collect and analyze data from a significant number of young people in the Nairobi region. This research project aims not only to contribute to the scientific discussion on effective strategies against youth unemployment but also to provide practical insights for the design of future educational programs in the field of entrepreneurship promotion.
