The Industrial Policy Lab's annual conference brings together leading economists, policymakers, and representatives from business and civil society to discuss the role of industrial policy in a changing world. The debates will focus on topics such as geopolitical resilience, strategic innovation, the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy, the defense industry, European industrial policy, and technological sovereignty.

Project
The Industrial Policy Lab is establishing a center of excellence for evidence-based, policy-relevant research in the field of industrial policy. In addition to developing a model for the systematic evaluation and quantitative analysis of industrial policy measures, the lab continuously monitors and evaluates current industrial policy instruments in Germany.
