This paper documents parts of the Consensus Economics survey data set on professional forecasters’ expectations on macroeconomic variables. We concentrate here on data for the G7-countries and the four most important variables; namely the real growth rate of the gross domestic product, the inflation rate, the real growth rate of industrial production, and the short term interest rate. The data run from October 1989 to October 2006.
