The demographic change creates powerful challenges. In their Kiel Policy Brief the Kiel researchers Sebastian Braun, Katrin Kamin and Marie Kristin Marten therefore suggest to set the course for our future already today. If we succeed in increasing the employment of older people, in improving the compatibility of work and family, and in making Germany attractive for high-skilled immigrants, we are well prepared for the demographic challenge.
