The report presents an assessment of the economic outlook for 2019 and 2020 based on a synopsis of the forecasts of Euroframe institutes and focused on the euro area. In the Focus section, against the backdrop of the progressing recovery, we discuss the cyclical position of individual countries and the major remaining macroeconomic imbalances. UK prospects in view of Brexit are presented in Box A.
