Shaping Digitalization at a Global Level

The Kiel Institute for the World Economy hosted an academic workshop on “Shaping Digitalization at a Global Level.” It took place on September 19, 2017, in Kiel and was part of the Think 20 Dialogue under the German G20 presidency.

The workshop brought together scholars who work on new insights into the social, economic and regulatory effects and challenges of the new digital age. It served academic exchange and the insights flew into the Global Solutions Initiative, which aims at making implementable proposals to G20 policy makers.

The workshop took place during the “Digitale Woche Kiel” with many talks, presentations, workshops and other events around digitalization (digitalewochekiel.de; in German only).
