Paula Jacobs
Paula Jacobs has been a member of the research group "Monetary Macroeconomics" since January 2026. She joined the Kiel Institute in September 2024 as part of the first cohort of the Advanced Studies Program, the institute’s doctoral program in International Economics. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Cologne and an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Bonn. Her research focuses on the transmission of monetary policy and fiscal policy shocks in the euro area, with a particular focus on periods of unconventional monetary policy and heightened uncertainty.
