Leonie Meissner
Leonie Meissner studied Economics (B.Sc) at the Univeristy of Augbsurg and Environmental and Resource Economics (M.Sc) at Kiel University. During her Master's degree she already worked as a graduate assistant at the Kiel Institute and continued as doctoral student at the research group "Global Commons and Climate Policy". As Junior Fellow she works on the project "The role of research and innovation measures on mitigating climate change". In her research, she investigates the effect of innovation policy instruments on CO2 reductions using applied theory.
