Since September 2025, Johanna Krohn has been part of the Research Center “Business Cycles and Growth,” where she is responsible for Germany’s inflation forecast as well as monetary policy. She is also a doctoral student at the Institute of Economics at Kiel University, where she previously earned her M.Sc. in Economics. Her research focuses primarily on empirical macroeconomics, with particular interests in monetary policy, inflation forecasting, and expectation formation.
