Online Conference: 102nd International Business Cycle Forum

Getting through the Quicksand – Bridging the Gap to a Post-Pandemic World Economy

14:00

 –

18:30

This time, we will take a closer look at current perspectives for world trade. Moreover, the economic outlook for major economies will also be an essential part of the spring edition of KKG: At what time will the threat of Covid-19 cease to weigh on economic activity? To what extent do country differences in terms of crisis (mis-)management and vaccination rollout determine the speed of recovery? Will economies fully and swiftly recover once the pandemic is over, or will there be permanent scarring? What are major risks to the outlook, upside and downside? The 102nd KKG discusses prospects and problems of the post-pandemic world economy.

Each presentation includes ~5 min Q&A with questions via Webex chat. Moderator: Stefan Kooths
