95th International Business Cycle Forum

Energizing the World Economy

The interplay of economic growth, environmental issues, and energy supply remains a hot topic on the global agenda. Important players in the world economy are taking different paths stimulating the debate on options, challenges, and risks. Also, the most recent electoral outcomes as well as forthcoming landmark elections in Europe are electrifying the policy arena as the economic consequences may be far-reaching. All this takes place in an international environment that seems to be more and more prone to isolationism and neoprotectionist tendencies.
