May 11, 2021 marks the centennial of the birth of Herbert Giersch, who shaped the Kiel Institute for the World Economy for more than 20 years until his retirement as president in early 1989. To mark the occasion, the Herbert Giersch Foundation, in cooperation with the Kiel Institute, is organizing this symposium on the future of globalization.
