Sebastian Jävervall, Ph.D.

Sebastian Jävervall joined the International Development Research Center as a postdoctoral researcher in August 2021. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Uppsala University, an M.Sc. in Econometrics from Stockholm University, and a B.Sc. in Economics and Political Science from Stockholm University. His research focuses on the political economy of development. In particular, he is interested in how corruption interacts with the organization of the state, its effect on policy implementation, and the quality of service provision.
