Day 2: Tabular data and visualisation; foundations of textual data
Day 3: Neural networks and large language models
Day 4: Agentic AI for research; applications
Day 5: Cloud computing and databases, project organisation and further topics

Friedrich Geiecke (LSE)

Friedrich Geiecke is Assistant Professor in the Department of Methodology at the London School of Economics (LSE) and a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics. He uses computational methods to study questions in economics. His main methodological interests are in machine learning and statistics, in particular reinforcement learning, prediction and causal inference, and natural language processing.
