The Supply Chain Disruptions Survey aims to capture companies' recent experiences and future expectations regarding supplier relationships. The survey was conducted in four countries – Austria, Denmark, Germany and Hungary – between mid-2023 and spring 2024. Medium-sized and large companies operating in different manufacturing industries were asked about various aspects of their relationship with their suppliers, in order to shed light on the input-output linkages between companies and their suppliers, to better understand the relevance of intangible assets alongside the classical tangible firm-to-firm links and the reactions to shocks along the GSCs. The first round of the Supply Chain Disruption Survey represented in this dataset was conducted as part of the EU-funded research project 'Rethinking Global Supply Chains: Measurement, Impact and Policy' (RETHINK-GSC), which captures the impact of knowledge flows and service inputs in global supply chains (GSCs). Update (December 2024): The updated dataset contains expanded data with additional survey responses from spring 2024, mostly from Germany, with a few responses from Denmark and from Austrian or Hungarian enterprises with a primary activity in non-manufacturing.
