I am a Senior Research Economist in the International Directorate of the Bank of England and a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics.

My main research interests span international economics and economic history, with a particular focus on empirical topics around international finance, the international monetary system, geoeconomics and international trade, often in a long run perspective.
