Emanuel Ornelas is a Professor at the Sao Paulo School of Economics-FGV and an Elected Fellow of the Econometric Society. He is also a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and a Research Associate of LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance, CESifo, and the International Growth Centre. His research covers a range of topics related to international trade, including the political economy of the formation and the consequences of regional trade agreements, trade policy under incomplete contracts, and the internationalization process of exporting firms.
