Prof. Dr. Cathrin Mohr

Seit September 2025 ist Cathrin Mohr als Associate Professor for International Political Economy and Geoeconomics am Kiel Institut und an der Universität Hamburg tätig. Zuvor war sie Postdoktorandin sowie Vertretungsprofessorin für Makroökonomie an der Universität Bonn und Postdoktorandin an der LMU München, wo sie auch mit summa cum laude promovierte. Ihre Dissertation trägt den Titel „The Power of the State in German History – Development and Political Economy“. Während ihrer Promotion war sie als Visiting Doctoral Researcher am Weatherhead Center for International Affairs der Harvard University bei Prof. Daniel Ziblatt tätig. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in Politischer Ökonomie, Geoökonomie und Wirtschaftsgeschichte. Für ihr „job market paper“ erhielt sie 2019 den Unicredit Econ Job Market Best Paper Award.
